While Village Tavern consistently receives praise, some diners note that the busiest weekends can lead to longer wait times, particularly during dinner hours. This can impact the overall experience, especially for those looking for a quick meal. Additionally, a few reviews mention that certain items may occasionally run out during peak times, which can be disappointing for guests eager to try specific dishes. The noise level can also rise during crowded hours, making it a bit challenging for quieter conversations. A few patrons have expressed a desire for more vegetarian options beyond the current offerings.

First time at Village Tavern and we had a great time. Food was delicious. Chicken tenders were a must and didn't disappoint. Also had a patty melt , and it was also delicious. The grilled onions were so perfectly cooked. Service was good. They had some drink specials too, which was great!

I recently ordered the chicken fingers platter at this establishment, and it exceeded expectations. The platter includes 6 delicious chicken fingers, and the variety of dipping options, such as ranch and mango habanero, added a delightful twist. Opting for the soup on the side was a great choice, and the sweet potato fries and tater tots (with a small additional cost) were worth every penny. The service was impressively fast, and our server was not only sweet but also provided exceptional service. I'll definitely be returning for another satisfying experience. 5 stars!

Lisa, Grace, and Sophie have been so good to us over the years! The cream of chicken soup on Saturdays is the best soup!! My dad and I will truly miss this staple of our time spent together. Thank you so much for everything you've done for the community. 💖

A friend and, I went to Village Tavern & Grill for lunch this past Saturday. We started off with the "XXL Potato Skins." I love potato skins and, these were super good! To start, my meal came with either soup or salad. I went with the creamy chicken with rice soup. The soup was really, really good. For my main course, I ordered "Mom's Perfect Pot Roast" and, it was pretty good. It came with a side of mashed potatoes and, vegetable of the day (a mix of carrots, cauliflower and, broccoli). I just wish they served dinner rolls with the meal. My friend ordered the "Village Chicken Salad." It was huge; even the chicken pieces were huge. It did look beautiful and, delicious. Our server, she was great! Halfway through our meal, she brought us each a fresh drink which was nice. If/when I go there again, I will try something else. Not sure what yet. Overall, it's a great place to go for lunch.
